Job Description

The Opportunity
 
We are currently looking for a People Services Advisor to join our People Team. Reporting to the People Services Lead, this role is responsible to provide full cycle HR recommendations and guidance to the business. 
 
The Role
As the People Services Advisor role you will be responsible for: 
  • Provide coaching and advice to managers in the management of employees.
  • Provide advice and expertise in area of employee relations and HR policies and practices.
  • Participate in the recruitment process, discussing staff needs with leads and assisting the recruitment advisor as required including attending Career Events.
  • Manage the vacation student programs including recruitment, onboarding and student mentoring.
  • Responsible for all job evaluations using Korn Ferry Job Evaluation method in consultation with company leads.
  • Responsible for co-ordinating the Employee Engagement Surveys and working with the People Lead and Reporting Analyst to provide detailed reports to business units about results.
  • Responsible for administering exit survey and provide reports to the Head of People.
  • Liaise with the People Lead to evaluate our Employee Benefits and promote current benefit offerings.
  • Manage and Administer the HRIM (ELMO) system including Recruitment, onboarding, performance, careers and general users modules.
  • Manage HR related internal communications.
  • Initiate activities to drive positive engagement and improve overall wellbeing, diversity and inclusion within our workforce.

 

About You
To be successful in this role we need you to have:
  • Degree in Human Resources Management or similar
  • Minimum of 4 years of generalist HR experience.
  • Experience in conducting Job Evaluations (Korn Ferry desirable).
  • Solid understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
