Job Description

The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a Design Drafter to join our team on a 2year fixed term contract.

The Role

In this role you will be responsible for: 

  • The preparation of designs and plans for works and equipment within our Technology teams
  • Updating of design records from commissioned works, site correlation or maintenance delivery updates
  • Preparation and updating of designated operational documents
  • Review of CAD design standards compliance within designs submitted by consultants, contractors or third parties
  • Management of design records, inclusive of version control, storage, issue and receipt of new or altered records
  • Review and update of drafting procedures and standards as required

About You

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Diploma or higher in Drafting or Engineering (or experience in a similar role).
  • Experience and proficient in the use of AutoCAD.
  • Working knowledge of relevant design drafting standards.
  • Experience in the use of Document Management Systems
