The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Signal Maintainer to join our team based in Northam. Reporting to the Supervisor Signals, you will assist in the safe, efficient and effective first-line maintenance and service restoration of signalling equipment and systems to a high degree of integrity to ensure rail safety standards are met.
As the Signal Maintainer you will be part of a team responsible for carrying out scheduled routine maintenance on signalling equipment, actively protected level crossings and associated electrical power and control systems. You will perform basic/routine maintenance, running repairs and basic fault finding to signalling equipment, vehicles and mechanical plant.
The role is based in Northam and we are looking for candidates that live in Northam (or surrounds).
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Electrical Trade qualification desirable but not essential
- WA Driver's 'C' Class Licence
- Experience in a similar role (desirable)
