Job Description

We have a 12month Fixed Term Contract opportunity to join our Perth Airport-based team.

The primary purpose of the Network Operations Planner is to plan, schedule and optimise access to the Arc network for customers, above rail operators and Arc teams within a defined region on a daily basis to maximise the throughput of tonnages on the Arc Infrastructure network. In this role, your duties will include:

  • Processing and optimising the train scheduling requirements of above rail operators
  • Investigating delay reasons and network issues in collaboration with Network Control and providing this information to customers and above rail operators via daily phone meetings.
  • Produce monthly operational reporting packages for discussion at customer and above rail operators meetings.
  • Processing and optimising the major work window requirements for regions and project teams.

The successful applicant will have the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders as well as demonstrated experience in developing reporting and performance metrics used to assist customers with their requirements. Your ability to source, understand and analyse large and complex data sources will be vital to the success of this role.
