Job Description

The Opportunity
 
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our workforce is equipped with the necessary skills, qualifications, PPE and support to perform at their best. You will be responsible for booking and scheduling internal and external training, updating learning and development systems with certificates and completed training, administering permits to work, and providing administrative support to the People, Governance & Risk team.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee training and competency records
  • Coordinate training schedules, bookings, and logistics with internal and external providers
  • Monitor compliance with mandatory training and certification requirements
  • Processing and issuing permits to work
  • Administration and processing of Controlled Documents
  • Processing invoices and reconciling of payments
  • Raising requisition/purchase orders
  • Support onboarding processes by ensuring new starters meet minimum training and competency standards
  • Generating reports and dashboards to track training completion and competency gaps
  • Provide general administrative support to the People, Governance & Risk team
About You
  • Extensive experience in an administrative role
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
