Job Description

The Opportunity
 
We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join our team on a 2-year fixed term contract.
 
The Role
As a Systems Administrator you would be responsible for: 
  • Management, maintenance and support of IT/OT Servers and Systems including but not limited to Microsoft Server Operating Systems, Microsoft System Centre, VMware, SolarWinds, Hybrid Exchange, Azure, M365, Cohesity, F5, Pure Storage and Citrix
  • Complete project tasks to facilitate project delivery across the IT/OT Operation Environments
  • Ensuring Server and Systems are kept up to date and stable
  • Proactive monitoring of Systems and Infrastructure
  • Implementation of the Security Standards defined by our Cyber Security team based on the NIST Framework
  • Develop and maintain processes, procedures, test plans and architecture diagrams to support the IT/OT Servers and Systems
  • Maintain and expand the Technology Knowledge Base
  • Participate in testing of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans to ensure that the business can continue to function in the event of exceptional scenarios
  • Design and maintenance tasks relating to the Server Standard Operating Environment (SOE)
  • Mentor and help to develop the skills of Service Desk and Desktop Support Staff
 
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Minimum 3years experience in same/similar role
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, multitask and prioritise effectively
  • MCSE, VCP, CCA, CCNA, and F5 qualifications desirable
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence
