Job Description

The Opportunity
 
We are currently looking for an experienced, hard-working Site Engineer to join our Projects Team on a 2 year Fixed Term Contract.
 
The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for providing discipline specific engineering support for the project delivery of CAPEX projects and will be assisting in delivering the assigned project duties in a safe, efficient and reliable manger to the agreed requirements on time and to budget. You will be expected to work periodically in all regions across our network for extended periods, have a good work ethic and be a collaborative team player.

Your key responsibilities will include:

•    supporting the Project Lead through the life cycle of multiple CAPEX projects;
•    creating, reviewing and improving project documents, frameworks, procedures and standards as required;
•    supporting the Project Lead and other members of the team in managing contractors and suppliers, including sub-contractors, in accordance with agreements and statutory requirements;
•    completing engineering tasks ranging from conceptual design, studies, project, commissioning, operating and maintenance advice through to closure planning;
•    providing technical advice to project stakeholders as required;
•    collaborating with the team and other internal and external stakeholders to innovate, develop and share technical knowledge.

 
About You

It is preferred you have previous engineering and track experience, and it is essential you have a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management or similar. You will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, technical aptitude and an enthusiasm to work on multiple projects.

There will be requirement to work away from home for periods during the year on a 10/4 roster.
