Job Description

The Opportunity
 
We are seeking a highly analytical professional with strong financial modelling capabilities to support investment analysis and corporate decision‑making to join our team in the role of Senior Business Development Analyst based near Redcliffe Station / Perth Airport.
 
The Role

You will be responsible for developing and growing Arc Infrastructure in line with strategic objectives through the identification and development of new customers, tasks and infrastructure investments.

The main role responsibilities are to:

  • Develop and manage detailed financial models including scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess investment opportunities.
  • Develop new and complimentary rail, transport and other infrastructure related opportunities consistent with the commercial, investment and strategic objectives of Arc.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with existing and potential rail customers and assist them in establishing rail-based solutions.
  • Work with Arc internal teams (especially Commercial, Legal, Engineering and Operations) to progress new rail and other infrastructure opportunities through the investment stage gates from identification to operation.
  • Manage in-flight investment projects through full project lifecycle and extending to the development of approval of all business case funding requests
  • Develop strong commercial relationships with key government agencies, relevant commercial entities and industry bodies where these relationships support arc infrastructure rail related business development initiatives.  
 
About You

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • Advanced Excel modelling skills, including dynamic formulas, scenario tools, and model structuring best practices
  • Ability to build investment‑focused models and run corporate models
  • Experience in managing commercial and strategic projects
  • Experience in preparing business cases and funding submissions
  • Degree Qualification in Business or Commerce or equivalent work experience
  • Infrastructure, mining or transport industry background preferred
  • 5-10 years commercial experience
