Job Description

The Opportunity
 
We are currently looking for a Commercial Analyst to develop Arc's regulatory models and provide support in the development of all commercial and operational models within the Commercial Team.
 
The Role
In this role you will be responsible for: 
  • Development of revenue budgets and operational forecasts.
  • Manage Arc’s Access Regime Regulatory Asset Model, including regular review and dissemination of costs and prices to customers seeking access under the Access Regime and the ERA, as well as internal stakeholders.
  • Assist the Commercial & Contract Specialist in maintaining Arc’s Access Regime part 5 instruments and their reviews, and Railways (Access) Code and other Regulator instigated reviews.
  • Responsible for the provision and review of financial modelling.
  • Responsible for the review of financial or revenue related sections of commercial contracts.
  • Assist in the preparation of Interim Track Access Prices and pricing schedules for Commercial contracts.
  • Provide support to the Financial Analyst by maintaining a working knowledge of the current procedures and processes.
  • Drafting of letters to customers regarding contractual/operational issues regarding existing agreements.
  • Providing information and analysis within the Commercial and Customer area and the broader business.
  • Performing desktop research and data analysis to provide commercial information to the business as required.
  • Assist with the provision of data and information for auditing.
  • Critically review the inputs, methodology and mechanics of financial modelling, analysis, billing and reporting activities carried out by peers.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have
  • Experience in commercial and contract management
  • Degree in law or commerce preferable but not essential
