The Project Engineer - Electrical will provide discipline specific engineering support for the feasibility study, development, scoping, estimating, design, delivery and commissioning of network upgrade projects. Also assist in the execution of assigned project duties in a safe, efficient and reliable manner to the agreed requirements on time and to budget.
You will;
- Deliver a portfolio of electrical, signalling, and capital works projects to upgrade and maintain the rail network.
- Manage contracts, suppliers, consultants, and subcontractors in line with commercial agreements and statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure safe and effective project delivery on site.
- Provide technical expertise and advice to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the Project Lead in financial management, including cost estimation, budgeting, and managing variations.
- Develop, review, and continuously improve project documentation, frameworks, procedures, and standards.
- Undertake engineering activities across all project phases, including concept design, studies, delivery, commissioning, operations, maintenance, and closure.
