The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Senior Rail Asset Management Engineer to join the team at our Perth airport Head Office.
The Role
This role is responsible for:
- Lead the review and continues improvement of Asset Management Frameworks and Processes, including undertaking gap analysis, to ensure the Frameworks and Processes are fit for purpose.
- Lead the Asset Management team to develop appropriate Asset Management KPIs.
- Engage the relevant internal AM Stakeholders and facilitating the review and development of asset management strategies for rail infrastructure.
- Coordinate with relevant internal AM Stakeholders to develop and revise Asset Management documentation including document frameworks.
- Oversee the assessment of client access requests against applicable codes and standards, ensuring responses are compliant, consistent and aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that regulatory requirements and governance is met throughout the project development phase in order to maintain compliance with applicable legislation, standards and business obligations.
- Defining the Asset Management risk framework and work with relevant Stakeholders to ensure the business conducts risk assessments which adequately align with the AM risk framework.
- Provide professional, modern industry standard systemisation knowledge to the Asset Reliability team with digitising AM frameworks and processes.
- Lead the Asset Management Team to ensure the continuous improvement of AM frameworks, processes and practices to align with modern industry standards.
- Develop Asset Management Strategies which direct Project Development teams for developing project feasibility studies.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have;
- 5+ years Asset Management experience
- Experience in implementing and managing processes
- Engineering Degree (Civil or Mechanical) or Construction Management is preferred
- Experience in an operational railway is preferred, including rail infrastructure management and engineering
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with stakeholders / teams is essential
- Experience with Power BI and, similar data visualisation and reporting applications is preferred
